When you are staying in Bed & Breakfast Wijk aan Duin, a day trip to Amsterdam is a must.

You can't believe how much you can see in one day. Amsterdam is a small city with excellent

public transportation, and most tourist attractions are on walking distance from each other.



Amsterdam canal cruise 

A great thing to do in Amsterdam is to take a canal boat trip. A canal trip is by far the best thing to do when you're in the city. You get a unique view of Amsterdam, and you will see places you can't visit by foot. During your cannel cruise, the captain will talk about the history of Amsterdam from the grand 17th-century houses to the history of the world-famous red-light district.

If art museums are high on your list of activities in Amsterdam, then make sure you explore Museumplein. Go shopping in the nine little streets 

For every how likes shopping the "negen straatjes", the nine little streets of Amsterdam. Just behind Dam Square, In the hart of Unesco's World Heritage, and on the way from Anne Frank to Rijksmuseum it the place to go. From vintage stores to the latest streetwear designer have their shops in the nine streets. in this area you can find the most trendy hotels like the Hoxton, Soho House and The W hotel, and the most lovely restaurant of Amsterdam as well located in this area.

When you want to visit Amsterdam from Bed & Breakfast Wijk aan Duin, it will be a 20-minute ride, and if you go by public transportation from, Beverwijk to Amsterdam will be a journey of 30-minute.
